You need to consider the effectiveness and the economic basis of it. Of many air conditioning brands and models available in the market, Coleman is one that often receives attention. Interestingly, the company known as Coleman has been rather noted for lanterns and its camping assets. Now, it has taken an important step in terms of air conditioning for RV.

Of all Coleman brands, two of them are particularly mentioned often – Polar Mach and Polar Cub. Both items are well-known and popularized for the innovative methods for air conditioning in RV. For the both items, the Coleman used low profile for enhancing the aerodynamics of the products. What does this mean to the users? What can the users do with Coleman, but not with other brands?

First of all, this increase and improvement in aerodynamics means that Polar Mach and Polar Cub produce the highest cooling capacity per power consumption when compared to all other models in the market. In other words, they are much more effective than other RV air conditioners in the past. Both include weather-resistant condenser coil protection and equipment to completely remove the water, preventing any damage to the color of the vehicle. The 17-inch fan blade is installed for both systems. In addition, the Coleman noted the significant increase in the transfer of heat to the exterior of vehicle with these systems.

The question is then, what is the difference between Polar Mach and Polar Cub? As the name suggests, Polar Mach can do more and is more expensive than Polar Cub. Polar Mach delivers 13,500 BTU (unit for air conditioners and energy) cooling at 310 CFM (cubic feet per minute) while Polar Cub achieves 9,200 BTU cooling at 200 CFM. The choice between Polar Mach and Polar Cub lies on the customer’s need. If RV is going to be used only temporarily, then Polar Cub may be able to suffice the need. But, for people who plan to use RV for a long time, maybe investing in Polar Mach will be a wiser choice.
